About
‘Museum on Wheels’- a moving museum that travels to the people connecting communities, the first of its kind in Pakistan is a pilot project of The Citizens Archive of Pakistan. The 45 foot container is equipped with interactive, immersive and educational exhibits powered by audio-visual elements about Pakistan’s rich history, arts, culture, and literature. The mobile museum demonstrates the strength and spirit of Pakistan from the perspective of a citizen and provides an engaging and thought-provoking window into the Indus River encouraging future generations to immerse themselves in the rich culture that surrounds it, inspiring them to work towards the preservation and betterment of our nation’s heritage. The Museum on Wheels operates as a learning center providing access to diverse programming, as well as more inclusive exhibition design for a participatory experience especially for students.
